In October 1999,Nittan Seisakusho Co., Ltd., hot forging machine manufacuturer,
and Sakae Kogyo Co.,Ltd., aluminum forging products manufacturer, merged and changed
to the current name of Nittan Sakae Corporation.
Since the foundation of Nittan Mnufacturing in 1939、we have been manufacturing
and delivering air drop hammers, forging presses and trimming & coining presses
consistently. Significant delivery results oversea, to say nothing of domestic market.
Recently, we started to manufacture and launch high precision forging press with
servomoter driven transfer to comply with the automation requirement of the hot
forging. Complying with a wide range of customer's requests, and as the forging
specialized manufacturer,Nittan Sakae Coporation's activity extends widely, from
flexible forging air hammers to state-of-the-art auto presses with transfer, from
new eqiopment system to repair/renewing, from domestic to oversea market, from
forging system to aluminum forging products.
The frame is a one-piece, stress-relieved casting with the sides extendedat the rear in box-form sections, which are utilised as air receivers.
Air piping for the clutch and brake systems is thus kept to a minimum, avoiding unnecessary air losses.
The casting is subjected to a rigorous code of inspection at all stages of production using the most modern methods.
All bearing surfaces are machined and machined and protected by replaceable bushes or liners. The base is also machined to ensure a good bed on the foundation.
For a given weight of frame the one-piece design has the shortest possible elastic circuit and provides the maximum effective cross-sectional area between the eccentric shaft bearings and the table.
Dynamic balancing of the ram and connecting rod assembly is effected by air cylinders, which automatically counterbalance the ram so that contact is maintained between the bearing surfaces throughout the working stroke. Static balancing is sufficient when ‘inching’ or slow running but dynamic balancing is required to maintain contact at high speed when approximately double the balancing forces are needed.
Two roller bearing assemblies, which support the eccentric shaft at each side of the frame, are pneumatically loaded and pre-load the main bearings so that the shaft is held firmly against the upper halves of the bearings at all times. Coupled with the dynamic balancing of the ram it takes up the beraing clearances in the connecting rod and eccentric shaft and provides the following advantages ;
○flash thickness can be reduced to a minimum without die to die contact.
○die setting is facilitated since no allowances have to be made for taking up clearances in the bearings
○heat transfer from the forging to the top die is reduced.
○die life is prolonged.
○impact of the eccentric shaft on its bearings is eliminated and bearig wear is, therefore, reduced.
○shock to the roller bearings of the clutch assembly is reduced to a minimum.
Auxiliary to NITTAN MASSY HIGH SPEED FORGING PRESSES AND NITTAN AIR DROP HAMMERS, a range of four suspension type presses is available with exceptionally large table and ram working areas. These presses are designed to carry out auxiliary forging operations including pre-forming, setting sizing, trimming and piercing. By using the wide ram press for these operations, instead of wasting strokes of the higher cost forging machine, greater utilization is achieved.
A strong ring-form frame, fabricated from heavy steel plate, has large openings in the sides to facilitate feed and clearance of forgings by means of mechanical conveyors. The heavy-duty multi-plate clutch, proved over many years on NITTAN MASSY presses, ensures long trouble-free working under the most arduous conditions.
